The weekend started out good for Kasey Kahne as he started in 10th place, but fell off the pace early in the race.I am starting to feel like some kind of Cleveland Browns fan from years gone by, the ones that say they are going to slit their wrists if the Browns lose yet again. Now about Jeff, well he did have a good weekend. He started first and ended first, which also earned him a tie with Dale Earnhardt Sr. for the most wins. Some had a problem with him about waving the Earnhardt flag, but I think it was a great way to show respect for the man. Jeff Gordon, a legend, maybe...a class act, OH YEAH! Still hoping for the first win, Kahne... Tags: racing • jeff gordon • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

To me, Martinsville is a track that needs to stay. It is the only track of its size and shape, and the people are all so friendly and helpful. You certainly cannot forget the Jesse Jones Hotdog! Every year, they improve the track and the grounds.I have been making the trip to Martinsville for the past 7 years, so it's become more of a family trip for us. At Martinsville, I got to see Dale Earnhardt for the first time in my life! I was sitting in Turn 1 and his pits were right in front of me. It was great to be able to see "The Man" at work! I think Martinsville should stay where it is today, so fans can say one day that they were able to see their driver up close at the best track on the schedule. Keep it where it belongs!
