NYT on The Saudi Arabian Street Racing Scene

Automobile racing is a dangerous sport and passion by some have gone to the public roads through street racing. Though everyone may not be a big enthusiast of racing, the issue is not to whether the acceptance but the dangers of expressing the passion and driving those deadly speeding vehicles on public streets. Legalised Street Races

Municipal leaders of Lodz - a Polish city, have an effective remedy to the problems of illegal street racing by organizing the street racing on the city's main avenue. The city 780,000 population is now dubbed as the Street racing capital of Poland. Illegal street racing was reduced by 80 - 90 percent upon the launch of the monthly and legal night street race.

Street racing bill passes first hearing

The Luis Rivera Ortega Street Racing Bill successfully made it pass through first committee hearing last Tuesday. The Bill developed following the accident of an Orange County Teenager.
