Installing a wing

By Kayla at 02/11/09 12:59

I have always wanted a wing on my Chevy Cavalier. I think it would add a little attitude. I'm a girl but I do like to have a nice ride. I have already "pimped" out the inside of my car. I have the system, the nice head unit, and DVD players in the back of the seats. Now I ned to work on "pimping" the outside to match. I mean I really don't have much to work with since all I do have is my little cavalier.

So I decided to try and install a wing or spoiler. First I needed to decide which one I wanted for my car. I looked around and decided that I want a spoiler instead. They, in my opinion, look sleaker. So I found which one I liked the best so next I have to mark off where I want the spoiler to go on my trunk.

You want to find the exact center of your trunk and work from there. You want it to.be even and look good. You can mark the middle with a peice of chalk or something that you can obviously get off. Now you will put the spoiler on your trunk where you want it positioned and drill the holes where the template holes are.

Now that you have your holes you better be careful because that's it. You now have holesin your trunk. So now just put all the nuts and screws in and your done. It is actually pretty easy!!
