When I think about NOS I think about fast and speedy cars. Nos, otherwise known as Nitrous Oxide Systems were invented in the 1970's. It is very popular for racing cars. You can use it on just about anything though. They have kits for trucks, ski jets, and regular stock cars.
When I was younger a friend and I was with her mom and step dad when all of a sudden we just started flying down the road. I thought, what the heck?! All he did was just press a little button and he started flying! I thought it was so cool!
The way nos works is nitrous oxide gets injected to your engine. Combustion is pretty much just igniting a mixture of oxygen and fuel in a combustion chamber with a spark plug. Then a explosion happens and thats what produces the power. What happens is a nos injection pumps nitrous oxide into an engine intake system. At 296 degrees Celsius the nitrous oxide changes to nitrogen and oxygen. The oxygen is then burned together with combustion. The more oxygen you have the more power you have, the more power you have th more speed you have.
So if you want to kick it up a notch with your car, just put some nos into it. That will make your car a lot faster! Make sure to be safe though and buckle up!
