A lot of younger people these days like to have a nice stereo and system in there car. Including me! So I was wondering where to start and what brands to go with. I wasn't real sure and didn't know who to ask so I decided to research it a little bit and do it myself!! Pretty big project for a 19 year blonde like myself!
First I wanted to figure out what kind of head unit I wanted. The head unit meaning the stereo itself. I looked around a little bit and found that I liked Sony the best. So now that I had my stereo in mind, I needed to know what's next. I had to take my old radio out and put my new stereo in. It didn't quite fit so I had to get a mounting kit and the man at the store recommended getting the wires to go with it. That did make the wiring a lot easier!
Knowing I had a good head unit I wanted to go big with my speakers. So I decided to go with two Sony explode 12" speakers. I put the speakers in my trunk. I really wanted to go all out so I bought myself a 1200 watt amplifier. The amp is what pushes the sound out. The more watts you have the more sound you'll get.
After I was all done I had to go through and make sure all my wires running back to the trunk was hid so it looked nice!! I'll tell you what, I did pretty good for a blonde girl. It looks and SOUNDS great!! I was so proud of myself I went and bought a coupe DVD players for behind my driver and passenger seats.
